Grammy nominee, two time Blues Music award winner and Bay Area music royalty and harmonica master Mark Hummel has defined the West Coast blues sound for four decades, leading the Blues Survivors and performing alongside Charles Brown, James Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite, and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith.
Rhythm section is Wes Starr on drums( Asleep at the Wheel, Omar and Howlers, Delbert McClinton, Marcia Ball, Anson and Rockets, Jr Brown, Willie Nelson) and upright bassist Bill Stuve( Rod Piazza, Candie Cain, Otis Rush, Little Milton, Johnny Taylor, Big Joe Turner, Jimmy Rogers).
