The Marmalade Skies Project is a unique combination of tropical styles—particularly Afro-Cuban and Brazilian jazz—and the timeless music of The Beatles. The band is comprised of world-renown musicians and Grammy winners—Francisco Loyo on keyboards, who anchored Luis Miguel's band live and in the studio for over 25 years and who produced his best-selling albums; Grammy-winning bassist Eddie Resto (Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Mongo Santamaria); percussionist Richie Gajate-Garcia (Hiroshima, Sting, Phil Collins); and guitarist Marcus Gerakos (Alex Acuna, Luis Conte).
