About
Melissa tour down the house during her last performance at “Jazz at the Rad”!! She’s a vocalist with a bluesy, soulful, R&B-tinged approach with influences of Dinah Washington, and Nancy Wilson. Melissa’s won semi-finalist placement in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, and has performed in New York's top jazz rooms with notables Harold Mabern, David Hazeltine and Jon Faddis. Melissa is releasing her second CD on Telarc, produced by illustrious bassist, John Clayton .
