Nick makes his ?rst appearance in LA at Vitello’s, to perform tunes from his brand new Posi-Tone album, Odd Man Out. Nick’s third studio album, it features his working band of eight years, and contains a setlist of hard-driving, swinging originals with a nod to the characters and styles of the ?lm noir genre.



Appearing with Nick at Vitello’s will be drummer Dan Aran, a veteran of the New York jazz scene, having performed with the Junior Mance trio, Harry Whitaker Trio, Roy Hargrove, Stacey Kent, etc., and a featured member of the Nick Hempton Band since its inception.



The Hempton Band’s only California show in the Odd Man Out tour, this promises to be a great night of hard swinging New York Jazz!
