Richard Halpern gives tribute to "The World's Greatest Entertainer" Al Jolson, celebrating the 90th anniversary of Warner Brothers' supreme triumph and first official talking movie, "The Jazz Singer" as well as other songs from that same year (1927) that Jolson sang during his career. The centennial of World War I and Jolson's tunes during that period will also be showcased.
Joining in the festivities will be the popular vaudeville team of Evans & Rogers along with Florida's own "Mr. Sunshine", Nigel Dreiner.
Musical accompaniment provided by the Blue Serenaders Dance Orchestra....
