Riner Scivally Quartet at Blue Guitar @ Arroyo Seco Golf Course

Riner Scivally returns to the Blue Guitar with a new configuration. His quartet will perform compelling arrangements of jazz standards and originals with some surprise guests sitting in. Riner is a long-time South Pas resident, He is noted for his warm tone and lyrical solos. He teaches guitar at Occidental and PCC and has worked with a variety of jazz artists including Larance Marable, Bobby Bradford, and Gary Foster. Riner is a long-time South Pas resident, He is noted for his warm tone and lyrical solos. He teaches guitar at Occidental and PCC and has worked with a variety of jazz artists including Larance Marable, Bobby Bradford, and Gary Foster. Another South Pas legend joining Riner is bassist Putter Smith who performs regularly in LA, New York City, and Barcelona. He has worked with Alan Broadbent, Michael Kansan, and Jordi Rossy among many others. Drummer Kendall Kay is a native of Durban, South Africa. You may have caught him playing with the popular Blue Guitar band, Group 5. Kendall has worked with Alan Broadbent, Jack Jones, and Cecilia Coleman among others.
