BeBop trumpeter Ron Meza is dedicating this tribute performance to the memory of Ron’s mentor Donald Byrd. Ron lives and
performs in both Los Angeles as well as Paris, France. He’s recorded and or performed with Joe Zawinul, Lester Bowie, Barbara Morrison, Frank Wess, Teddy Edwards,, John Lee Hooker, jr., Carlos Santana, Patrice Rushen & more!. His Parisian quartet is featured in the upcoming feature film Love Punch.
