The trio of Lett•Mancini•Dutz defies the conventions commonly associated with Jazz. Words such as "zany", "mad-capped", "lush", and "cinematic" are often used to describe their spontaneous, stream-of-consciousness explorations through the greater pantheon of jazz standards. An avid fan once was quoted, saying, "Its exhilarating to be swept away by the music, all the while wondering if Mancini will fall off the stage whilst playing." Collectively, bassist Bruce Lett, percussionist Brad Dutz, and vibist Nick Mancini represent over a century of live performance experience.
