Lily Hernandez D Oviedo is a Cuban singer of Camagueyan origin, of all types of genre, salsa, ballad, samba, pop, traditional son and TIMBA, starting in 2010 with her own band, La Sonora Clasica.

After singing at scenes like the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in Manhattan with musicians from El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico,

Ruben Blades, sharing the stage with a well known Latin Jazz musicians such as, Danilo Pérez, Osmany Paredes, Oscar Stagnaro, Chucho Valdés and other jazz luminaries, she also works with talented bands in Europe such as Calixto Oviedo and Latin Train, La Jugada, Suwalski World Club, and others no less important in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

She was nominated for Latin Grammy for her participation on the CD Raul Lara y Sus Soneros. She has also received honors from Salsa stars of Puerto Rico and New York such as Jerry Rivas and Ralph Irizarry who named her THE AMAZON OF SALSA.
