When meeting Clayton, some are shocked at his humbleness and his refreshing talent. In this world where few performers are well rounded artists, Clayton is able to dance, act, write, model and croon tunes reminiscent of a “young, hip, Nat King Cole.”

As a child, Clayton’s mother prepared him for the world of music the old fashion way… putting him in the church choir. It was there Clayton was able to develop his sound, learn music and discover the art of singing in front of mass audiences. Devoted to gospel music, he would go home and listen to great gospel singers like The Clark Sisters and Fred Hammond....

His ability to perform music was not the only passionate discovery Clayton made in the church. While participating in a church play, Clayton was bit by the “acting bug”. As many of his fellow church goers will tell you, “He stood on that stage and we felt the stage come alive. It was incredible!”

Clayton has shared the stage with Chaka Khan, El Debarge and Az Yet. His most notable role was that of playing Mufasa as the understudy in the Las Vegas production of the Lion King.
