Cle Thompson is one of L.A.’s best kept jazz secrets. Before it closed, you could have caught her at Charlie O’s, the famed jazz club in the San Fernando Valley where she played with musicians like John Heard, Joe Bagg, John Beasley, Theo Saunders,

These days she just finished recording her 3rd CD “Shall I Compare Thee…”, an adventurous project in which she composed original music to 10 Shakespeare sonnets. All in the jazz genre, you’ll hear Shakespeare sung as ballads, blues, bossa, samba and swing tunes.

When she isn’t writing, singing or performing she is teaching at the New York Film Academy where she works with international actors, teaching them the American Accent.

In September she will be showcasing her other talent as a professional actress when she takes on the lead role in “Driving Ms. Daisy”.
