Michael Sessions is a strong saxophonist, full of inside-outside gusto and an appetite for harmonic and textural tangents. He gained respect as a notable jazz musician from his years with the Horace Tapscott Qnt. He’s played with the Art Davis Qrt and performed with greats such as Stanley Crouch, Arthur Blythe, Teddy Edwards & Thurmond Green. This sextet boasts a powerful three horn front line and dynamic rhythm section!
