This funny, spirited and touching evening brings together Cole Porter’s brilliant, sometimes racy list songs like “You’re the Top,” “It’s De-Lovely” and “The Physician” with some of the bittersweet, passionate ballads such as “Night and Day,” “I Concentrate On You” and “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.”

Interspersed are tales from the glamorous life led in Paris, New York and Hollywood.

STEVE ROSS rose to fame as a cabaret entertainer during his lengthy sojourns at New York’s fabled Algonquin Hotel and Ted Hook’s Backstage in the late 1970’s. He has spent the ensuing decades singing and playing in smart clubs and swank parties all over the world. The Ritz in London, the Crillon in Paris and the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, in addition to festivals in Hong Kong, Perth and Spoleto – these are but highlights of Steve’s appearances on six continents. He is active as a jazz and studio recording musician for record, film, television, Broadway and has performed and recorded with Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Sting, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Patti Lupone, Mandy Patinkin, Metallica, Bjoirk, Clark Terry, Liza Minelli, Andrea Boccelli, Enya, Alana Davis, Audra McDonald, Pat Metheny, Antonio Banderas, Ciaran Sheehan, Chita Rivera, Connie James and Steve Ross to name a few.
