Through his career Tim has shared stages with artists as diverse as Jean-Luc Ponty to Duke Ellington to Dan Fogelberg, and even had a pop hit with Fogelberg ( The Power of Gold ). His recording of " A Hard Way to Go " was used in the Oscar-winning Woody Allen movie Annie Hall , and his legendary bands have been long heralded as the forerunners of "Jam Bands" .
