LACMA and the Los Angeles Jazz Society present legendary saxophonist and composer, Wayne Shorter, one of the most significant and prolific performers and composers in jazz and modern music. The evening salutes Shorter, who was an integral part of Miles Davis' band, National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master recipient, and co-founder of the premier fusion group Weather Report, with a special video tribute, speeches from County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and Congresswoman Karen Bass, and other surprises.
