Maya Proulx has been performing piano, viola, and writing her own songs since she was four years old. She picked up guitar during the pandemic and has found a deep love for Brazilian, Spanish, jazz, and classical guitar. She was recently named a 2024 YoungArts winner with distinction in Jazz Voice and was nominated to apply for the US presidential scholar in the arts, the highest honor of the organization.
