So I’m writing to invite you to the debut performance of my brand new show “The SOUND Of MARTY PAICH” up at Vibrato on Wednesday, May 8th.

This show is super personal/meaningful to me. It’s my loving salute to American music icon MARTY PAICH. As you probably know, he was the musical genius whose jazz arranging made my father's, Ella Fitzgerald's, Frank Sinatra's, Sarah Vaughan's, Ray Charles', Aretha Franklin's and countless others’ mid-century albums sound so impossibly cool.

My super-talented bandleader friend, Dave Richards & I have been working hard with both Paich and Tormé archives to put a brilliant show together — one that flaunts Marty's incredible 10-horn arranging that could make both instruments & vocals soar! ...
