About
John Morell and his son Justin Morell are both established jazz guitarists. John worked for many years in television and film soundtracks, and live performances. As a jazz guitarist he has worked with noted artists from Shelly Manne to Miles Davis.
He is one of the most well respected guitarists in the Los Angeles area. Justin is a 4th generation guitarist and has followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfathers. While his main interests are composition and jazz performance, he is an experienced guitarist of all styles. Justin has also performed as a freelance guitarist on a variety of jazz projects as well as on television and movie soundtracks. They will be playing jazz standards as well as original compositions.
