Julian Coryell began playing the guitar at the tender age of five, and quickly exhibited a natural talent for the instrument. Son of famed guitarist Larry Coryell, Julian’s musical gifts were nourished and he began writing music at a young age.

The Coryell household was never lacking in musical visitors, and Julian was exposed to everyone from Miles Davis to James Taylor, each adding to the mix of influences from which he is inspired. Julian entered Berklee college of Music at 16 years old and was the youngest graduate two years later at 18. Since then, he’s toured and recorded with numerous platinum artists including Alanis Morissette, Aimee Mann, Leonard Cohen, Madeleine Peyroux, Dave Brubeck, Joe Sample, and Billy Cobham to name a few.
