Mayita Dinos is a modern-day hybrid. She is a successful landscape designer and singer-songwriter with a multilingual (Puerto Rican and Greek), and multicultural background.
In early 2020 she debuted a CD, ‘The Garden Is My Stage’ an album that combined her two passions: singing and nature. To celebrate the completion of this Cd, a concert was planned at a venue very dear to her heart, the Arlington Garden in Pasadena, a garden she designed! However, the pandemic hijacked those plans.
Saturday, April 30, at 7:00 pm, the Arlington Garden will be filled with live music from her album, ‘The Garden Is My Stage’ as well as some original songs. She will be accompanied by music director, Dori Amarilio- guitar, Ed Czack- piano, Aaron Serfaty- drums, Trey Henry- Bass, and Alex Budman- woodwinds. This concert is not to be missed!...

REVIEWS
“Vocalist Mayita Dinos brings wide-eyed wanderlust in her tone as she takes a collection of standards and makes pastel impressionistic portraits with Dinos’ voice unifying the album with a mix of relaxed dynamics and rich soul.” – George Harris, JazzWeekly
“What an album! Mayita Dinos sings with such polish and poise that it belies the fact that this is her first foray into recording. The artists supporting her are brilliant, the production is sterling, the song selection is flawless. It is only May but I can’t imagine any album coming out this year that can remove her from Best Debut Album on my Favorites of 2020 list.” - Travis Rogers, Jr, The Jazz Owl
“A fully-formed musical vision, internally integrated and deliberately conceived…If this is a debut, the future holds great things for Mayita Dinos.” – C. Michael Mailey, All About Jazz
“Poetic and profound, swinging, exotic and deeply spiritual debut album, The Garden is My Stage… a showcase for her sensual, caressing and supple vocals, which draw us in with rich intimacy and dynamic flights of fancy as they adapt effortlessly to all the genres Mayita loves.” Jonathan Widran, JW Vibe
