Mike Gurley who is a member of the band Dada, leads a retro style Jazz group reminiscent of early 60's Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. His brand of guitar is blues/rock influenced and melds the 2 worlds wonderfully making the group more energetic than a typical straight ahead Jazz group that can sound repetitive and uninventive. Mike also writes originals that most people mistake as tunes written during the "Rat Pack" era. This is a Jazz group for you if you're looking for something that is different and a fun evening.
