Jazziz Magazine called guitarist, bandleader, and composer Peter Kavanaugh’s 2015 album, Whisper Not, “A refreshingly old-school approach to songbook standards.” His latest release, Look for the Silver Lining, builds on his guitar and vibraphone-based sound with more horns, blues, and ambitious arrangements of songs by Dave Brubeck, Rodgers & Hart and other great 20th century composers.
