Thirty years ago, Robert Kraft was a mainstay of the New York nightclub scene, performing sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Town Hall and the Bottom Line, and recording 4 albums between 1979-1985. All 4 albums, plus a recorded live performance, will be re-released on October 23, 2013.

In the '80s, Kraft moved to Los Angeles to score films and produce soundtracks, earning Academy Award, Grammy, and Golden Globe nominations for his songwriting and producing. In the '90s, he put his career as an artist and songwriter on hold, becoming the President of Fox Music in Los Angeles for the next two decades, where he was responsible for the music from over 300 films, including The Little Mermaid, Titanic, Moulin Rouge, Black Swan, Slumdog Millionaire, and Garden State.
Reviewing a 1980 show at New York's legendary Bottom Line, the New York Times's reviewer, Stephen Holden, described Mr. Kraft as "an endearingly quirky cult figure who comes very close to embodying an archetype of pop elegance."
