Sheree Brown is a distinguished singer, ASCAP Award-winning songwriter, musician, and Emmy-nominated producer. She launched her career in the early eighties as a rhythm & blues and pop recording artist with Capitol Records, where she wrote all the songs for her albums Straight Ahead and The Music. Over the years, Sheree has earned gold and platinum record certifications for her songwriting, including the hit “Looking for You” by Kirk Franklin, which topped the gospel charts. Her songwriting prowess has garnered multiple ASCAP Awards and includes contributions to tracks by renowned artists such as Grammy-nominated Patrice Rushen (“Haven’t You Heard” and “Settle For My Love”) and Zhane (“Groove Thang”). Sheree has co-written, recorded, and published nearly 100 songs, including contributions to the acclaimed film Hollywood Shuffle....
