Rising versatile bassist Marlon Martinez presents a night of fresh original compositions and jazz classics with very special guests.Marlon is the bassist of the new classical-fusion band "Off the Score" co-led by rock legend Stewart Copeland and classical virtuoso Jon Kimura Parker. He performs eclectic jazz with world renown pianist Mike Garson, and the dynamic classical string quartet Quatuor Ébène. Marlon is a student of bass icon Stanley Clarke and a graduate of the prestigious Colburn Conservatory of Music where he studied with Peter Lloyd.
