The West Coast Chamber Jazz Trio is the primary working group of legendary percussionist Andrea Centazzo. The West Coast Chamber Jazz Trio features Andrea Centazzo on percussion & electronics, Ellen Burr on flutes & electronics, and Jeff Schwartz on double bass.

The trio applies a wide range of improvisational approaches to compositions from across Centazzo’s career, including pieces originally written for classical ensembles and film scores. Their debut CD, LA Strictly Confidential, appeared on Ictus Records in 2016, and they have toured the West Coast and Italy. In 2022 they are preparing material for a second album, performing special shows of the music of Centazzo’s mentor Steve Lacy, and will return to Italy for the Ictus Festival this July in Milan.
