Bay Area treasure Laurie Amat has collaborated with composer and accompanist Joshua Raoul Brody for over a quarter of a century on projects ranging from Tony Pellegrino's ground-breaking music theater piece Deer Rose to Brody's godawful cover band Theee STUPEDS. Now she devotes an entire evening to compositions by Brody (and
lyricists including his long-time associate Merle Kessler), accompanied by the composer himself. Selections from several Kessler & Brody "one-man shows it takes two guys and a six-pack of beer" will abound, along with smatterings from other shows as well as an amazing recreation of the mini-opera Goddess of the Hunt.
