About

Michel Legrand is a French musical composer, arranger, conductor, and pianist. He has written over 200 film and television scores in addition to many memorable songs such as “Windmills of My Mind,” for which he won an Academy Award, “Watch What Happens,” “Summer Me, Winter Me,” and “You Must Believe in Spring.” He frequently collaborated with American lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman and his songs have become a part of the “American Songbook.”

In this workshop we’ll explore and sing the beautiful music of Michel Legrand. We’ll also listen to how some jazz greats have interpreted these songs and get ideas for our own arrangements...
