Drummer Myron Cohen presents a tribute to his mentor, Billy Higgins, with the Billy Higgins Legacy Band, at Musically Minded Academy in Oakland, on Saturday July 11th at 8PM. The compositions will be jazz classics, among Billy's favorites. Myron says the Legacy Band will attempt to evoke the feeling Billy brought to the bandstand by doing their best to play with the finesse he always brought to the music....
