Akira Tana and Otonawa at California Jazz Conservatory

Drummer Akira Tana leads Otonowa, presenting jazz interpretations of Japanese folk and pop melodies, some dating as far back as the 18th century. Proceeds from this concert will go to raise funds for Otonowa’s Northern Japan Tour, in which Otonowa will perform for the communities still rebuilding from the earthquake and tsunami of 2011.
