About
New York jazz vocalist Andrea Wolper guests with the Denny Berthiaume Trio, one night only. Born and raised in San Carlos, Andrea has spent her adult life in New York City, where performs in venues and events from the JVC Jazz Festival to the Blue Note, teaches, and writes music. She also tours in the U.S. and internationally.
Andrea is one of the "great jazz singersî covered in Scott Yanow's book, "The Jazz Singers: The Ultimate Guide." Her 3rd CD, "Parallel Lives" (Jazzed Media, 2011), landed on several best-of-year lists, and in 2012 "TranceFormation in Concert" (New Artists Records) earned a "best vocal CD of the year" accolade in the Downbeat Critics' Poll listings.
