Their dynamic performances traverse genres such as jazz, gospel, hip-hop, footwork, house, and techno, pushing sonic boundaries and fostering innovative artistic expression. N.G.S.R.S has performed at notable venues including Art Club Chicago for Cosmo Whyte’s “Mother Tongue” and at the Illinois Institute of Technology during the “Bronzeville: Strife on State Street” event.

As dedicated educators, they lead early childhood music programs through Old Town School of Folk Music’s “Music Moves Fireflies” program, conducting engaging jam sessions for infants and young children across Chicago’s west and south sides. By combining rigorous research-driven sound exploration with spontaneous live improvisation, N.G.S.R.S creates groundbreaking afrofuturist sonic experiences that challenge genre conventions and expand the boundaries of Black artistic expression.
