Bill has presented "The Banjo in America" throughout the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom and Japan, performing with the San Francisco Symphony, on "A Prairie Home Companion" and The "Woodsongs Radio Hour" and as an artist-in-residence at many universities, including the Berklee College of Music. Over a forty year performing career, Bill has appeared or toured with Jody Stecher, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Peter Rowan, David Grisman, Fletcher Bright, David Bromberg, Tony Trischka, Laurie Lewis, Claire Lynch, and the Steep Canyon Rangers, among many others. BillÕs 2012 CD "In Good Company" topped international folk and bluegrass charts and was on many Best of Year lists, including Pop Matters and Folk Alley. This project features over 26 musicians, including the Infamous Stringdusters, Tim OÕBrien, and Joy Kills Sorrow performing BillÕs innovative compositions that blend jazz, classical, folk and world music influences.
