Brian Ho stays rooted in the tradition of Hammond Organists such as Jimmy Smith, Shirley Scott, Jack McDuff, Joey Defrancesco, and Lonnie Smith as he plays solo and melodic lines with his right hand and doubles as the bassist by utilizing the low end of the keyboard and bass pedals. With his vast knowledge of styles and influences, he has developed his own unique and modern take on "organ" jazz.
