Dix Bruce & Julie Cline sing and play a wonderful combination of Americana and original music on guitar and mandolin. Their beautiful vocal harmonies make everything they perform, from bluegrass to blues, folk to country, rockabilly to originals, a pleasure to listen to. Their new CD Look at it Rain includes a mixture of traditional and original songs arranged to showcase their duet singing and instrumental sound.
Sam Rudin plays some of the most exciting piano you are likely to hear. He can evoke the spirit of Fats Waller, Oscar Peterson, Mose Allison, and Jerry Lee Lewis...sometimes all at the same time. He also just might be the only bluegrass piano player in the world, and is happy to be surrounded by great bluegrass musicians where some mixing, matching, and jamming will have a chance to happen.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby). The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds.
