This concert is an opportunity to hear Ellen in an intimate musical setting where she will be singing with a duo consisting of two of the Bay Area’s most gifted instrumentalists:

Pianist Murray Low is fluent in all forms of jazz and has had a multi-faceted career. He was nominated for 2008 Pianist of the Year by the Latin Jazz Corner and has performed with such performers as Clark Terry, George Duke, Kitty Margolis and Ann Estrada.

Bassist John Schifflett has done countless studio sessions ranging from radio and TV jingles to jazz and country and pop recordings. His performing and touring include such well know personalities as Mel Torme, Boz Scaggs, Kurt Elling and Madeline Peyroux.
