Whether it was in the early days at Bacar in SOMA, their trip to SXSW, their hit at the the Jazz Standard in NYC, the week at Yoshi’s with Charlie Hunter, or the annual epic New Years Eve concerts around the Bay Area with the late, great John Shifflet on bass, these two musicians have always found themselves on common musical ground.
