LehCats (Norbert and Karen Stachels’ last name spelled backwards) performs original compositions that combine elements of modern jazz, funk, R&B, Middle Eastern, Afro/Latin, and rock into a musical potpourri of creative sound. LehCats consists of Norbert Stachel (tenor and soprano sax, bass clarinet, and flute), Karen Stachel (flute, alto flute, and piccolo), Jeff Tamelier (guitar), Murray Low (piano), Dewayne Pate (bass), Gilbert Ross (percussion), and Dan Gonzalez (drums). This performance will celebrate the release of LehCats’ new CD, Movement to Egalitaria.
