JuSusan is a unique inspirational/gospel/jazz composer, writer and jazz vocalist who began singing in the church at age 4, and sang opera while receiving her education at California State University, Los Angeles.
As founder and CEO of Soft Sound Music, she recorded her first gospel jazz CD entitled God’s Love Ballads in 2008. She has performed as an actress, singer and composer for numerous musical stage plays.
She has performed at innumerable private and community events sponsored or organized by the City of Berkeley, Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, Berkeley High School, San Francisco and Oakland Mayor’s Office, Black Fireman’s Assoc., NAACP, Oakland City Council, Oakland Police Dept., City of Richmond, City of Pittsburg, 100 Black Men of America, San Francisco Redevelopment Dept., Los Angeles Parks & Recs., Faith Fancher Foundation, Bridge The Gap Assoc. & many others....
