Laura is a “recovering lawyer" and a New Jersey native transplanted in California. Also appearing is Calaveras, an acoustic band featuring Victoria Blythe and Greg Beattie that has been making music for over 20 years. They combine elements of folk, jazz, blues, and country into original songs that are both fresh and timeless. Their songs have captured the grand prize in the West Coast Songwriters International Song Contest as well as multiple Song of the Year honors, and have appeared in TV shows and movies. As performers, they are winners of the prestigious Kerrville New Folk prize and the Napa Valley Music Festival Emerging Songwriter award, and performed the opening concert for the Telluride Folk Music Festival. Their live show is a mix of Victoria’s soaring, ethereal vocals and fiddle and Greg’s energetic and insightful musical treatment of birth, death and everything in between. They have released four CDs, received extensive radio airplay and have had songs placed in television shows and major motion pictures.
Opening the show is Chris Hanson, is an Americana folk musician native to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a compelling repertoire of songs and a soulful sound. Noted for his refreshingly raw, yet smooth, voice and brilliant lyrics. Hanson has been awarded best song by West Coast Songwriters three years in a row (2006, 2007, and 2008) and again in 2017 and 2018. His songs encompass everything from a reverence for historical and political struggles to the hauntingly soulful bellows of unrequited love.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).
