Le Jazz Hot presented by Vallejo Jazz Society at Bay Terrace Theater

Le Hot Jazz will headline the next Vallejo Jazz Society concert at the Bay Terrace Theatre/MIRA in Vallejo on Sunday, September 15, at 5pm.

Le Jazz Hot, the quartet of the Hot Club of San Francisco, is an all-string instrumental jazz group specializing in Gypsy Swing- the music of the French gypsys circa 1930-40s and beyond.

Since 1990, with 13 CDs available and numerous appearances worldwide, Le Jazz Hot brings hot jazz, lovely romantic ballads, french cafe melodies, bossa nova rhythms, and danceable swing tunes to the stage.

A not-for-profit organization formed in September of 2010, the Vallejo Jazz Society’s mission is to heighten awareness of jazz in Vallejo and nearby communities by sponsoring concerts throughout the year at various local venues. The organization also provides jazz-related educational resources such as concerts and clinics to local schools and youth organizations.

Tickets for the concert are $10 ($5 for VJS members) and may be purchased at the door or online at www.vallejojazzsociety.com. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
