The Jazzschool Institute presents the Mark Murphy vocal prize winners in concert. Every year the JI presents the Mark Murphy award to a singer "who demonstrates exceptional creativity and artistic promise." For one night only, all four recipients - Jua Howard (2009), Andrea Claburn (2010), Kyra Gordon (2011), and Kathy Blackburn (2012) - will share the stage with a world class rhythm section: Matt Clark, John Wiitala, Alan Hall and Kasey Knudsen.
