He's known for his revolutionary cello playing, semi-acrobatics, and motivational songs from his own land of Sneth. Two decades of practicing and meditation led Rushad to invent bluegrass cello, co-found folk-bluegrass sensation Crooked Still, and earn a Grammy nomination with the all-star group Fiddlers 4. In 2007 he strapped on his cello and unleashed the cello-driven rock band Tornado Rider.
