On May 1 starting at 8pm, Tangria Jazz Group will present their first East Bay performance of a Green Jazz set at a May Day Fundraiser at the Oakland Noodle Factory (1255 26th St, West Oakland, CA; $10 sliding scale).

The whole event runs from 7pm-12am and includes a wide variety of wonderful bands and performers. From 8-8:30pm Tangria's Green Jazz set will happen downstairs. Green Jazz features a mix of grooving music and poetry with environmental justice themes, original jazz inspired by nature, and more.
