Celebrate the Bay Area’s own rich Latin Jazz heritage, cultivated by Cal Tjader, as Steve McQuarry presents Tribu on Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 17th. Join the anniversary celebration party on July 1st with special Peruvian treats. The band performs all shows and celebration 7-10pm at Chalaca Annexo.
Fresh from a live performance on KPFA radio’s Bajaba Showcase, Tribu fuses Latin rhythms with West Coast Jazz, accented by fresh Peruvian cuisine. No cover charge.
