Telepathy, celebrating 18 years of original jazz, is inspired by Ornette Coleman's keyboardless quartet, without the stereotypical abrasiveness of the avant-garde. The band, 2 saxophones, upright, and drums, uses myriad music influences to create a sound that's fresh, soulful, virtuosic, and toe-tapping.
