Known for their "heartfelt elegance" and "spiritual fervor" (SF Chronicle) Vajra Voices and Shira Kammen will perform songs including medieval songs from the Las Huelgas de Burgos manuscript and music of Hildegard von Bingen. Composer Theresa Wong joins on her piece, To Burst To Bloom on spiritual poems of the 12th century Taoist Immortal, Sun Buer. Also feautred is a setting of Hildegard's poem to Divine Wisdom– Sophia– composed by Shira Kammen.
