DjangoSphere aims to show the same kind of originality that the names "Thelonious SPHERE Monk," and"Django Reinhardt" evoke, and to show the relationship between the Gypsy Jazz Django invented and mainstream bop to which Monk contributed so much. Django was not JUST a Gypsy Jazz musician, he was one the greatest mainstream jazz players ever.

Djang-O-Sphere hopes to put Django AND Monk's music into the pantheon of ALL the greats of music while celebrating them as individuals in this great art form that Mark Holzinger and Kit Eakle now communicate in their own individualistic, idiosyncratic compositions with similar originality and flair.
