The Brown Bowman Wilcox Trio is a unique partnership of melody, harmony and rhythm between 6 string electric bass, reeds and drums. In addition to their own compositions and improvisations, their repertoire includes arrangements of pieces by Bartok, Brahms, Machaut, Faure and Poulenc as well as arrangements of Bulgarian and Brazilian pieces. They also feature many compositions of the great bass player/composers, such as Charles Mingus, Gary Peacock, Miroslav Vitous, Sam Jones and Jaco Pastorius....
