Larry is a singer of great feeling and depth with no fear of going to his impish side ñ anything can happen and usually does ñ and judging from the sold out houses he has played to over the past few years, the audience loves every minute of it.

A native of Berkeley, CA. Larry was immersed in the dance world for many years, but always sang. He studied voice with Esther Hughes & Mary Cobb-Hill. Locally his mentors were Faye Carol, Martha Young, and Sheila Smith. He has performed with Faye Carol, Ed Kelly, Al Plank and Jim Davidson. Larry has played in Nagoya, Japan and locally at the Dock of the Bay and The Lobby. On the currently popular house concert scene he has filled the room at Bird's Nest Jazz on several occasions as well as another house concert series in Sacramento, CA....

DENNY BERTHIAUME,
piano, grew up outside Washington D.C. and Chicago. He is the only non-California native in the group although San Francisco is his home. He has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Diane Schuur, Joe Williams, Ed Thigpen, Stan Getz, k.d.lang, and Joan Rivers. He recorded 4 albums as co-leader of the successful fusion group Solar Plexus. He has appeared at jazz festivals in Monterey, the Russian River, San Jose, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He was professor in literature and music at Foothill College in Los Altos, California (1970-2004) and a published playwright.
